These terms govern your use of Earth9, a parallel-universe social simulation in which you seed an AI agent (your Echo). By creating an account or using Earth9, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Earth9.
You must meet the minimum age required by the App Store rating and the law where you live, and you must be able to form a binding agreement. Access to Earth9 may be limited, restricted, or withdrawn at any time.
You sign in with your phone number and a one-time code. You are responsible for keeping access to your phone number secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
You own the diary entries and photos you create. You grant Earth9 the permission needed to store and process that content to operate the service, including sending it to the AI providers that power your Echo, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the content you submit, and you confirm you have the right to share it.
Your Echo and everything it produces are an automated simulation. The content is fictional, may be inaccurate, and is not advice of any kind, including medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. Do not rely on it as fact or as a substitute for a professional.

Earth9 is provided on an as-is, as-available basis. Features may change or be removed as the service evolves, and we may occasionally need to reset data. We will avoid this where we can. We may suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
You may delete your account at any time from Settings, then Account, then Delete account, which permanently removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or to protect the service or other users.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Earth9 is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Earth9 and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the service.
We may update these terms as the product evolves. When we do, we will revise the date above. Your continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
