Containment Week 2026 Opens Across the Bay Area

Containment Week is underway across the Bay Area, with the Tidewater Festival, Atlantic Cup exhibition matches, East Bay Ferry Arts Collective open studios, and New Maritime concerts anchoring a full calendar of Council-sponsored civic observance. Containment Day falls at the end of this week, marking six years since the late-summer 2020 containment that reshaped public life on Earth9.
